A Dublin Airport-bound Ryanair flight was forced to divert back to London after declaring a mid-air emergency.
Ryanair flight #FR212 left Stansted Airport north of the English capital at 7:30pm this evening, and was due to arrive in Ireland at 8:40pm.
However, the flight was forced to turn back roughly over Manchester after declaring an emergency.
The issue was reported to be defective autopilot.
The plane was guided back into Stansted and reportedly made a safe landing.
Dublin Live have contacted Ryanair and Stansted Airport for comment.
