A woman has died after falling from a block of flats in east London as a man was arrested over the incident.
The 26-year-old fell to her death from the flats in International Way, Stratford, shortly before 4.30pm on Tuesday.
Police, paramedics and an air ambulance rushed to the scene and attempted to provide first aid.

She died a short time later and her next of kin have been informed.
Police have launched an investigation into her death and a man has since been arrested and taken into custody.
The Met Police said in a statement: ‘A 26-year-old woman has died after a fall from height from a block of flats in International Way, Stratford.
‘Police were called to the location shortly after 16.30hrs on Tuesday, 17 August to a report of an offence. Officers attended and a man was arrested. He has been taken into custody.

‘Shortly before 17.40hrs, it was reported that a woman had fallen from height. Officers at the scene helped provide first aid and called London Ambulance Service to the scene.
‘Despite the efforts of emergency services, the woman died a short time later.
‘Her next of kin have been informed. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
‘As is routine in these circumstances, the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards and the Independent Office for Police Conduct have been informed.’
