Seven Crystal Palace U23 players have signed new contracts with the club – Jake O’Brien, Jay Rich-Baghuelou, David Boateng, Luke Dreher, Sean Robertson, Sion Spence and James Taylor.
O’Brien has signed on a permanent deal after a successful loan spell at Cork City during the 2020-21 campaign.
Centre-back Rich-Baghuelou joined the South London club in January 2020 and scored twice in 20 appearances as the U23’s were promoted.
Boateng has been with Palace since the U9 age group and made 20 appearances in the 2020-21 season as the young Eagles secured Premier League 2 promotion via the play-offs.
Spence who is currently on loan at Bristol Rovers and Taylor both joined the club in September 2020, whilst Dreher and Robertson are long serving members of the Under-23’s.
