The A1010 (Hertford Road) is closed in both directions following a house fire in North London, near Herts.
The closure is currently in place from B137 Nightingale Road to Cuckoo Hall Lane due to the incident.
The blaze, which was reported an hour ago, is at a mid-terraced house in Enfield.

Currently, a large part of the loft conversion, part of the first floor and a staircase is still alight.
Reports state that six fire engines and 40 firefighters are tackling the blaze which has slowed traffic.
There is a diversion in operation for bus routes 279 and 349, with traffic heading to and from Ponders End being affected.
