Holland Park incident: Man rushed to hospital after ‘falling on train tracks’ in West London

A man has been rushed to hospital after ‘falling on train tracks’ in West London.

Police were called to a casualty on the tracks at Holland Park Tube station at 4.40pm today (Sunday, August 15).

Dozens of ambulances, police cars, and fire trucks were at the scene, and an air ambulance landed at nearby Holland Park.

Paramedics treated the man before rushing him to hospital. His condition is currently unknown.

British Transport Police say the incident is not being treated as suspicious.

One person reported that the man “fell on the tracks”.

Holland Park station reopened at around 6.30pm but there continues to be severe delays on the Central line.

Trains weren’t running between White City and Marble Arch eastbound for some time.

London Buses, London Overground, TfL Rail, Great Western and Greater Anglia are accepting tickets via any reasonable route.
