Photos showing the extensive damage to a storage building situated next to a disused Essex pub after erupting into flames has been released.
London Fire Brigade was called to a fire at a disused pub in Wood Lane in Dagenham at around 6.47am on August 2.
40 firefighters were in attendance, as well as six fire crews from Dagenham, Ilford, Romford and Peckham.

Upon arrival, the firefighters discovered that it was in fact a detached storage building that had caught alight and was completely destroyed.
The fire took place near to The Ship & Anchor pub on Wood Lane, Dagenham.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.

At the time of the fire, a spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said: “Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a fire at a disused pub on Wood Lane in Dagenham.
“A detached storage building was destroyed by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade was called at 6.47am and the fire was under control by 7.48am. Fire crews from Dagenham, Ilford, Romford and Peckham fire stations attended the scene.”

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
Station commander Peter Cox, who was at the scene, added: “Crews arrived to see smoke which appeared to come from the roof of a disused pub, but on investigation, firefighters discovered a small fire in a storage building next to the pub.
“Crews worked incredibly hard to quickly bring the fire under control and stop it from spreading to the pub.”
