Tess Daly will be best known to most of the country for her long serving role as one half of the Strictly Come Dancing presenting team, first with Brucie, and now with Claudia Winkleman.
You’ll have also seen her in ads for L’Oreal, Children in Need, and she even had a go presenting the One Show.
But off screen she’s lived quite the interesting life with a TV star husband of her own, a real name you never knew about, and the heart-breaking reason she never sees her sister.

Tess, 52 married TV presenter hunk Vernon Kay, 47, all the way back in 2003, before she was presenting on Strictly.
The two met on the TV show T4 which Vernon was presenting and quickly fell head over heels for each other.
Despite some rocky patches the two are still going strong and will soon be able to celebrate 20 years together.
They have two daughters between them, Phoebe, 16, and Elizabeth, 12.
You might not know that Tess wasn’t actually born Tess Daly, but Helen Daly, she has previously explained how when she started modelling at 18 she was told the company already had a Helen Daly.
Her manager was obsessed with the Roman Polanski film Tess and so she took that name, though her name officially is still Helen as she felt legally changing it was disrespectful to her parents.
Tess has also expressed her dream to move to New Zealand, with a heart-breaking family reason behind this.
Her sister younger sister Karen lives out there with her family and Tess has said how she misses her “terribly” whilst her daughters both want the move to see their cousins.
She told Woman magazine a few years ago: “Every time we visit my sister Karen in New Zealand I spend the next two months Googling properties and dreaming of escaping the British winter.
