Two vehicles collided at  Wonderland Road South and Glanworth Drive at about 1:20 p.m.

An 85-year-old man died and an elderly female was being treated in hospital for life-theatening injuries, London police said.

A third person was also injured, police said, but no update on their condition was provided.

An SUV and what appears to be a van were involved in the crash. The SUV was left with heavy damage to its front end while the van appears to have caught on fire with flames spreading to nearby road signs.

Wonderland remained closed several hours after the crash while the police investigation continued. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call 519-661-5670.
