The ITV host wrote on his Instagram story: “When the gardener next door is stung 3 times by a bee and goes into anaphylactic shock.

“And our incredible ambulance and paramedic team are here in 3 minutes!!

“We are SO lucky to have them.”

He carried on praising the emergency services quick arrival with a few final words and a love emoji.

He shared that his neighbour was ‘going to be fine’ and said a final ‘thank you’ to the paramedics involved.

Anaphylaxis is a medical emergency and can be very serious if not treated quickly.

The symptoms of an anaphylactic shock include feeling lightheaded, breathing difficulties, wheezing, a fast heartbeat, clammy skin, confusion and anxiety, and collapsing or losing consciousness.

An adrenaline auto-injector can help prevent future episodes.

Phillip is currently spending more time at home instead of presenting This Morning alongside co-host Holly Willoughby.

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford have returned to the daytime show for the time being.

The married couple took over the reins in mid-July as regular hosts Phillip and Holly enjoy a well-earned rest and a relaxing summer.
