He helped them win a first league title since Inter’s all-conquering 2010 side last term and was only outscored by Cristiano Ronaldo, whose Juventus side endured a disappointing campaign.
Lukaku has scored 64 goals in 95 appearances for Inter but is set to become another high-profile departure from the Narazzurri this summer.
Head coach Antonio Conte departed almost immediately after the end of the season due to reported friction with the club’s hierarchy.
