Palmers Green shooting: Police cordon off street after two shots fired

Two gunshots were reportedly fired in a serious incident last night near Palmers Green Station in North London.

Officers were called to reports of someone taking out a gun in Aldermans Hill near the Triangle at about 7.15pm.

A witness reported hearing two separate gunshots in the area.

But when police arrived they found no suspect or victim.

The cordoned off the street and the investigation into what happened is continuing.

The incident occurred on Aldermans Hill, near Palmers Green Station

Someone who saw the crime scene wrote on Twitter: “Two separate shots were fired Triangle, Palmers Green”

The incident caused some travel disruption as the road had to be closed. Palmers Green station was also closed and no trains were calling at the station, however it has since reopened.
