Two people were rushed to the hospital with stab wounds after being brutally attacked in the early hours of this morning in South East London.
The Metropolitan Police were called shortly before 2am on Saturday (August 7) to reports of an injured woman on High Street, Orpington.
Officers, along with the London Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene to find a 23-year-old woman who had been stabbed.
The emergency services also discovered a 56-year-old man had also been stabbed and first aid was given to the two victims immediately.

Both victims were then taken to the hospital where the woman’s injures are not believed to be life-threatening.
The man’s condition, however, hasn’t yet been confirmed.
A crime scene remains in place on Orpington High Street.
An 18-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, robbery, and possession of an offensive weapon and remains in police custody.

A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called at 01:48hrs on Saturday, 7 August to reports of an injured woman in High Street, Orpington.
“Officers attended and found a 23-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds. At the scene officers found a 56-year-old man had also been stabbed. They immediately provided first aid.
“The London Ambulance Service attended and the man and woman were taken to hospital. The woman’s injures are not believed to life threatening and we await an update on the man’s condition.
“A crime scene is in place.
“An 18-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, robbery and possession of an offensive weapon. He remains in police custody.”
