Police are searching for a man who jumped into the River Thames off Westminster Bridge this evening and is still missing.
Witnesses reported seeing a lot of emergency vehicles on the scene including police cars and fire crew vehicles.
Met officers were called to Westminster Bridge in Central London at 7.52pm this evening (August 7).
They were called out to reports of a man with a cut hand.
It was also reported that a man had jumped into the river from Westminster Bridge.
A spokesperson for the police said: “A search is ongoing to locate this man.
“The incident is not being treated as terror-related.”
