A road has been completely shut in Herts after a cyclist was involved in a serious collision with a vehicle.
Police were called to London Road in Welwyn, Hertfordshire, just after 10am this morning (Tuesday, August 3).
It came after reports of a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and a cyclist.

Emergency services are currently at the scene and road closures are in place while they attend.
According to traffic maps, vehicles on High Street, School Lane and The Green are all being affected by the closure.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek an alternative route where possible.
