Motorcyclist fighting for his life after West London crash

A young man has been left fighting for his life after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a car in West London.

Emergency services were called at 8.25pm on Saturday, July 31 to reports of the crash on Maida Vale road, near the junction with Elgin Avenue.

The motorcyclist, a 25-year-old man, was rushed to hospital by the London Ambulance Service where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

His next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and helped the police with their investigation.

No arrests have been made.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the incident.

A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision.
