Live updates as man, 33, dies in West London building site fall during police hunt after attack in bar

A 33-year-old man has fallen to his death in a West London building site, after police began a hunt for a man who was allegedly attacking people in a Hammersmith bar.

Police were called at 2.44am this morning (Sunday August 1) to reports of a man acting aggressively at a bar on The Broadway. It was reported that the man had assaulted a number of people, before leaving the scene.

Police then launched a search of the area to track down the man.

A short time later, a 33-year-old man fell from a height on a nearby building site. Police carried out emergency first aid until the paramedics arrived but the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 3.03am.

His family have been informed and the incident is under investigation.
