An 18-year-old man is facing a string of charges after police seized some guns and drugs from a home in the Old East Village neighbourhood, London police say.

The raid happened Wednesday morning at a home in the 900-block of Dufferin Avenue, just west of Quebec Street, police said.

Among the items seized were a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun, various rounds of ammunition, a bulletproof vest and about $850 worth of drugs, including cocaine and fentanyl, police said.

A London man, 18, is charged with seven counts of gun possession while prohibited, careless storage of a firearm and four counts of drug possession. He’s scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
