Officers have shut a road in Romford after a man was found dead in a car.
The Met Police were called to Charlotte Gardens in Collier Row, Greater London at around 1pm this afternoon (Monday, July 26) following reports that a man was unresponsive in a car.
Sadly, a man was later pronounced dead at the scene.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called shortly before 13:00hrs on Monday, 26 July following reports of an unresponsive man in a car in Charlotte Gardens, Romford.
“Police and London Ambulance Service attended.
“A 39-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“His next of kin are aware.

“A scene guard remains in place as officers continue their enquiries.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained.”
The road is still blocked off by police and members of the public are advised to avoid the area.
