TikTok pranksters ’caused mayhem in Tesco two weeks before Asda’:

A thug in a Spider-Man outfit among a costumed mob involved in a violent brawl in Asda are being investigated over an earlier aggressive storming of Tesco.

New footage of the comic book character standing aloft brawling what looks to be a karate fighter on the top of chiller cabinets has been uncovered today.

The video in Tesco shows Spider-Man shouting down to where shoppers buy their goods ‘Come on then, you f****** c****’.

Today the link to the creator’s YouTube was completely removed of any content.

MailOnline can reveal Tesco suspect the incident is connected and are currently investigating the circumstances.

A source said: ‘We think it is the same group of people and are looking into what action was taken.’

The TikTok account linked to the video show other clips of stunts inside supermarkets, including a flour fight. The idea is the more outrageous the stunt, the more clicks and fans it can fetch.

Footage from Asda on Thursday night showed a female employee grappling with a girl before the costumed man lands a kick and a punch – knocking her straight to the floor of the supermarket branch in Clapham, south London.

The fight started when the group stormed the store and set off a party-popper in the security guard’s face, according to witnesses.

A video of the ‘battle’ was shared to social media showing people beating each other on the shop floor.

The superhero look-alike was also filmed punching a female member of staff and knocking her to the ground in a separate clip.

But witnesses said security were also to blame after one of the guards allegedly punched a man in a wheelchair.

Five people were arrested but bailed until next month over the fight, which left six people injured.

The arrests included a 31-year-old man, who was detained on suspicion of actual bodily harm, grievous bodily harm, affray and violent disorder.

A 37-year-old man, 35-year-old man, 18-year-old woman and 17-year-old girl were also arrested on suspicion of affray and violent disorder.

Steven Hollis, 46, who was in the shop at the time, said: ‘Roughly 25 people ran into the store firing party poppers – the big streamer sort of ones.

‘They hit the security guard in the face with one of them and that’s when it all kicked off. Of course the security guard who had been hit tried to move them on, out of the store.

‘That’s when one of them dressed as Spider-Man came up and whacked him right in the face and then all hell broke loose.

‘I tried to leave the store but security stopped me and said they thought I had something to do with it.

‘The guy who was in the wheelchair was actually with the guys who started it. He was mouthing off and stuff, but wasn’t fighting.

‘He smashed through the fire doors to get out and the security, instead of restraining him, punched him at least five times and knocked him out of the wheelchair.’

He added: ‘I left after that, but I guess his mates must have come back and seen him and it all kicked off again.

‘I hope the security guard got arrested as well because it was just disgusting.’
