The M11 slip road onto the North Circular Road is currently shut because of severe flash floods in the area this afternoon (Sunday, July 25).
Heavy rain has caused travel chaos in east London this afternoon, especially around Barking and Woodford, Greater London, which is having a knock on effect to the M11 in Essex.
The M11’s slip road at junction 4 for the North Circular Road is currently flooded, making travel impossible.

Police are on the scene.
Highways England tweeted: “The #M11 southbound exit Slip Road to the #A406 W/B Waterworks at #J4 (#A406 #NorthCircular) is currently CLOSED due to flooding in the carriageway.
“@metpoliceuk are currently at scene, Traffic Officers are on their way to the area to assist.”
