England fans smash Burger King window with bottles and uproot trees in Leicester Square

England fans have smashed the window of a Burger King with bottles and uprooted trees in Leicester Square.

Tens of thousands of fans are gathered in the heart of London, with some throwing bottles in the air.

Some bottles are hitting the windows of the fast food restaurant Burger King, leaving large cracks.

The square is already covered in rubbish and fans have knocked over bins and even uprooted trees.

Urban Pictures, a Twitter account run by a freelance video journalist, has captured the chaos in a short video posted online.

Other video footage shows a male England fan in Leicester Square spinning a tree he has uprooted around, with fans cheering him on as he chucks it into the air.

Supporters have also been seen chucking their drinks in the air, setting off flares, and climbing traffic poles as the crowds swell ever larger.

Three Lions and the Harry Maguire chant are being sung every few minutes, along with Sweet Caroline and other fan favourites.
