Manchester United have officially unveiled Jadon Sancho as their second signing of the summer transfer window on Friday.
The England international has signed an initial five-year deal at Old Trafford after United agreed a £72.9million transfer fee with Borussia Dortmund – Sancho, 21, arrived at United’s Carrington training complex last Tuesday for a medical.
United officially unveiled Sancho as a new signing on Friday after a minor paperwork issue delayed the announcement. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will now throw his resources behind signing a centre-back, with talks still ongoing with Real Madrid over Raphael Varane.
In more transfer news, it’s said Everton have joined the race to sign United’s Jesse Lingard this summer.
Reports claim Everton’s newly installed boss Rafa Benitez has ‘made it his top priority to strengthen the wide areas’ and that Lingard is viewed as a suitable candidate to provide Dominic Calvert-Lewin with the service he needs to score goals.
