Man United have revealed Erling Haaland and Harry Kane transfer plan after Jadon Sancho deal

The futures of Harry Kane and Erling Haaland are set to dominate the world of football this summer, with both superstars constantly involved in transfer rumours.

After sensational seasons for Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund, respectively, the two strikers are not short of interest from around Europe.

Kane has been heavily linked with Manchester City as Pep Guardiola looks to find a long-term replacement for Sergio Aguero, who has now moved to Barcelona on a free transfer.

However, football.london understands that Spurs’ stance on the 27-year-old remains the same: he is not for sale, despite the Premier League champions sniffing around.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are still pursuing a big-money deal for Haaland, but Borussia Dortmund, understandably, do not want to sell the 21-year-old.

Manchester United have both been linked with the pair at times over the last couple of years – but not so much this window, with Jadon Sancho being Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s priority this summer.

United confirmed the signing of Sancho from Dortmund for around £73million and some new information on the Manchester outfit’s hunt for a striker has emerged.

According to our sister title, the Manchester Evening News, United feel like they have now assembled “one of the most exciting attacks in Europe, capable of fielding two enviable quartets”.

This means that a move for a world-class striker, like Kane or Haaland, is not a priority before the window slams shut at the end of August.

But Solskjaer is set to dive back into the transfer market next summer as they look to move for a long-term striker in 2022.

This could be bad news for both Spurs and Chelsea in different ways. For Tottenham, should they keep hold of Kane this summer – something Daniel Levy is seemingly desperate to do – then United could come in all guns blazing in around 12 months time for his signature.

For the Blues, however, if they are unable to sign Haaland over the next month or so, then United could reignite their interest in the Norway international and provide stern financial competition to the west London club.
