A woman has been rushed to hospital after she was reportedly “stabbed in the back on her way home from work” in West London.
London Ambulance Service confirmed they rushed to an “incident” on Greenford Avenue in Hanwell, Ealing, at 6.18pm today (Wednesday, July 21).
They said the victim was taken to a major trauma centre, after being treated at the scene.

A local resident told MyLondon they believed a woman had been “stabbed in the back on her way home from work,” although this is as yet unconfirmed.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 6:18pm today (21 July) to reports of an incident on Greenford Avenue, Hanwell.
“We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer to the scene.
“We treated a person at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre.”
The person’s condition is not yet known.
