The Blues beat Manchester City in the European final on May 29 to win their second ever edition of the competition, thanks to Kai Havertz’s first-half winner for Thomas Tuchel’s side.
The west Londoners were not granted their usual trophy parade after winning the trophy due to coronavirus restrictions in London, but have chosen the match against fierce London rivals Spurs as the perfect opportunity to show the fans to their fans.

A statement from Chelsea on next month’s friendly against Tottenham read: ‘At the match at Stamford Bridge, the Champions League trophy will be paraded for the first time since the glorious night in Porto back in May.’
Not many Chelsea fans have been able to see the Champions League trophy in the flesh so far, with only 6,000 Blues fans allowed into the Estadio do Dragao in Porto for the May 29 European final.
It is the second time the west Londoners have ever lifted the trophy, with their first Champions League win coming in 2012 – which was followed by a parade of more than 200,000 people in west London on the morning after.
Chelsea were denied a Champions League parade, like in 2012, this summer due to Covid rules
The 2012 triumph was the first time a team from London has ever won the Champions League, with Arsenal and Tottenham failing to win the trophy despite reaching the final of the competition in 2006 and 2019 respectively.
This summer, Chelsea and Spurs will face each other in an exhibition match before the new season as part of the Mind Series, which will see Chelsea, Spurs and London rivals Arsenal take part in a three-way tournament to raise money for mental health.
Each side will play two games each, with Chelsea visiting Arsenal on August 1, before hosting Tottenham three days later.
Spurs and Arsenal will then take part in a north London derby ‘friendly’ on August 8.

The friendly matches are set to be home fans only, but the London derbies will be played in front of ‘near-capacity crowds’ after the lockdown restrictions on stadia capacity were dropped by the UK Government on July 19.
Tuchel’s side have already shown glimpses of class whilst preparing for the new season, with the Blues thrashing Championship side Peterborough United 6-1 in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Saturday.
Chelsea also face Bournemouth on Tuesday in their next pre-season friendly, with their last game before the start of the Premier League season being the UEFA Super Cup clash with Villarreal on August 11.
The Blues begin their league season with the visit of Crystal Palace on August 14, while Spurs, who face Football League sides Colchester and MK Dons as part of their pre-season schedule, begin against Manchester City a day after Chelsea’s start.
