Brent is becoming a major London hot spot for properties.
Wembley in particular is growing in popularity amongst young workers looking for a vibrant area to call home. With the national stadium, Wembley Arena, a shopping centre with a cinema and a theatre all in Wembley, it’s certainly the place to be.
However, with rising popularity comes a rise in prices. The average house price in Brent is currently £555,797 according to Zoopla, which is higher than the London average.
For many Brent residents, hopes of buying a house in the borough under £300,000 is far fetched.

In the shadows of Wembley, however, lies a three bedroom semi-detached home available to buy. On Oakington Manor Drive, only two minutes from the street where Raheem Sterling grew up is a three bedroom property priced at £250,000.
The catch however, is viewers can’t see inside the bargain home and there are no pictures of it available. The auctioneers of the home informed My London that they haven’t been able to go inside the home.
It is a home in need of renovation, so it’s definitely a fixer upper.
From the pictures available, it’s clear from the outside that the home could do with some work.
The semi-detached property has recently been rewired and had roof and gutter work completed, so a head start has been made on the extensive work needed.

One of the many perks of living in Wembley is also the transport links. Wembley Park, Wembley Central and Stonebridge Park which cover the Metropolitan Line, Jubilee Line and Bakerloo Line between them, is also a walking distance from the property.
The property is being auctioned by stream on July 23 giving possible buyers a few days to get a deposit out of the piggy bank.
