As of July 19, double-vaccinated Brits are free to travel to amber list countries, without having to quarantine on return to England.
The move is part of the country’s return to normality, as many government mandated Covid restrictions are lifted in a shift towards the public taking personal responsibility.
Most countries on the amber list are open to quarantine free travel for Brits who have had both vaccinations, except from France which will still require isolation on return.
Although the mandatory 10 day isolation period is no longer required for vaccinated travellers, there are still a number of requirements to be aware of.

On return to England passengers over 10 years old must take a Covid test and produce a negative result, book and pay for a test to be taken on day two after return, and complete a passenger locator form.
Travellers will need to declare that they are fully vaccinated and show proof of their vaccination status to the airline.
Many of the countries included in the amber list have their own rules and restrictions on Brits travelling to the country, meaning while there may be no quarantine on return, there may still be requirements on arrival.
The amber list is made up of 140 countries, many of which continue to ban entry to anyone who is arriving from or has been in the UK in the previous 14 days.
