Canning Town Station has been cordoned off by police following an incident this afternoon (Tuesday, July 20).
The British Transport Police confirmed the East London station has been cordoned off by the Metropolitan police following a ‘nearby’ incident in what appears to have been the last hour.
Photos shared on social media in the last hour show a police cordon around Canning Town station.
Eyewitness reports said emergency exits were also in use at the station.
Another report said the bus station had been cordoned off following an incident.
