Man, 25, dies after crash on A23 London Road near Gatwick Airport

A 25 year-old man has died after a crash near Gatwick Airport.

Multiple emergency providers, together with West Sussex Fire and Rescue, responded to the intense incident at round 3.15am on Friday (May 28).

It adopted studies of a single-vehicle collision involving a gray Toyota Proace van.

The street was closed in each instructions on the A23 London Road, on the junction with Manor Royal, with officers saying the street would stay closed for a while.

A Sussex Police spokesperson mentioned: “A 25-year-old man from East Grinstead suffered severe accidents and sadly was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

Officers are interesting to anybody who witnessed what occurred, or who has related dash-cam footage which will help with enquiries, to return forwards.”

A South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) spokesperson confirmed ambulance crews attended and that sadly a person was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

London Road stays partially closed in each instructions whereas automobile restoration work is ongoing.
