Teen charged with conspiracy to murder over shooting of activist Sasha Johnson

A person has been charged with conspiracy to murder over the shooting of black equal rights activist Sasha Johnson.

The 27-year-old Oxford graduate stays in a vital situation in hospital after being injured at a celebration in Peckham, south-east London within the early hours of Sunday.

On Wednesday 5 males had been arrested in connection with the incident, and on Friday 4 of them had been launched on bail till a date in late June.

The fifth male, Cameron Deriggs, 18, of Bromley Hill, Lewisham, has been charged with conspiracy to murder, the Metropolitan Police mentioned.

He has been remanded in custody and can seem at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
