A rabbi at an East London synagogue has been hospitalised after an ‘unprovoked and cowardly assault’.
Rabbi Rafi Goodwin, assistant rabbi at Chigwell & Hainault United Synagogue, was reportedly the sufferer of a ‘religiously-aggravated assault’, which occurred shortly after 1.15pm on Sunday May 16,.
It occurred on Limes Avenue, Chigwell, close to the place the synagogue is located.
Police consider that two youngsters stepped out in entrance of the sufferer’s automotive whereas he was driving and started an anti-Semitic tirade earlier than damaging the car.
