Anger as as vile convoy calling for ‘rape of Jewish women’ shames Yorkshire

Yorkshire MP Naz Shah has slammed “appalling” misogynistic and anti-Semitic abuse shouted from a convoy believed to be from Bradford.

The Labour MP who represents Bradford West is one of many who’ve slammed the “pro-Palestine” convoy driving round St John’s Wood, north London calling for Jewish ladies to be raped.

On a video which is at present circulating on Twitter, a person on a speaker horn will be heard saying: “F*** all of them, f*** their moms, f*** their daughters and present your assist for Palestine”.

He continues: “Rape their daughters, we have now to ship a message.”

Condemning the video which has amassed 1.3million views, Naz Shah tweeted: “This is appalling vile antisemitic & misogynistic abuse, they should be discovered, arrested and charged, they don’t characterize these campaigning for the rights of the Palestinians.”

Alex Sobel, who represents North West Leeds has additionally spoken out, tweeting: “If you’ll be able to’t oppose violence with out calling for extra violence. Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Priti Patel have each condemned the feedback, with the Home Secretary including: “There isn’t any place for hatred within the UK.”

The Metropolitan Police has mentioned they’re conscious of the video and officers are finishing up “pressing enquiries” to establish these accountable.

A spokesperson for the pressure mentioned: “We are conscious of a video showing to indicate anti-Semitic language being shouted from a convoy of automobiles within the St John’s Wood space this afternoon. CST, a charity that helps UK Jews tweeted earlier: “We are absolutely conscious of appalling antisemitic intimidation and incitement from “pro-Palestinian” automobile convoy from Bradford driving by way of north London into central London and have been in pressing dialogue with @metpoliceuk.”

West Yorkshire Police has been contacted for a remark.
