Man rushed to hospital after ‘road rage hammer attack’ in Croydon

A person was rushed to hospital after he was reportedly attacked with a hammer in a highway rage incident in Croydon.

It was round 10.30am on Wednesday (May 12) when police had been referred to as to experiences of a disturbance in Lower Addiscombe Road.

Officers attended together with London Ambulance Service and located the 39-year-old man with head accidents.

Police mentioned it was reported that he had been assaulted.

Reports on social media counsel the sufferer was hit with a hammer in a highway rage assault. This has not been confirmed by police.

One resident took to Facebook to share information of the incident, which apparently occurred by Croydon Veterinary Surgery and precipitated visitors to construct up on the highway.
