Boy hit by car near Oakwood Underground station

A schoolboy was taken to hospital after he was hit by a car near a station.

The emergency providers have been known as to the Oakwood Underground station space shortly earlier than 3pm on Tuesday afternoon.

The Met says it was known as at 2.52pm to studies of a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Bramley Road, near Southgate.

Paramedics attended alongside police and a 12-year-old boy was taken to a north London hospital.

Police say his situation was later assessed as non life-threatening or life-changing.

The driver of the automobile concerned stopped on the scene.

After the collision occurred, police taped off the realm as enquiries have been carried out.
