(*5*) Town, Derby County and Long Eaton academy footballer dies of head accidents

An inquest has been opened into the demise of a younger footballer who misplaced his life aged 20.

Matthew Langton had spells with the academies of (*5*) Town, Derby County and Long Eaton United soccer membership.

He was born on September 20, 2000 and sadly died on March 2, 2021, aged 20.

Ms Laurinda Bower, assistant coroner for Nottinghamshire, opened the inquest into his demise on the morning on Wednesday May 5 at Nottingham Council House.

The courtroom heard Matthew was declared useless on the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham. He was recognized by his mom.

A postmortem examination has been carried out and the provisional explanation for demise was given as “1A head accidents”.

As a results of the reason for demise, an inquest is important.

The listening to now stands adjourned for the completion of additional enquiries and can be resumed for a last listening to on a date to be mounted.

Ms Bower added: “I specific my honest condolences to Mr Langton’s household, all of his buddies and all who knew him.”

All three golf equipment paid tribute to the younger footballer across social media.
