Plaid chief refuses to be drawn on chance of a coalition

Plaid Cymru chief Adam Price has refused to be drawn on the potential of coming into a coalition within the Welsh Senedd within the wake of the upcoming elections.

Speaking to Sky’s Sophy Ridge on Sunday, he mentioned there was rising assist for independence in Wales.

“Support is rising, certainly in accordance with some vital rules now even the vast majority of Labour voters assist independence.

“Support for independence in Wales now could be larger than it was in Scotland 10 years in the past and, after all, just a few years later they got here inside 5% of successful an independence referendum.”

He added: “Politics is all about momentum and the momentum is with the independence motion.”
