The hearth has damaged out at an industrial unit on Platt’s Eyot, which an island on the River Thames.

Video footage from social media reveals firefighters dashing to the scene to sort out the huge blaze. 

A witness mentioned: “Police/hearth transferring individuals again. Lots of bangs and pops.

The London Fire Brigade confirmed an industrial unit is alight on Platt’s Eyot, and there are additionally “some cylinders concerned in the hearth.”

A London Fire Brigade spokesperson mentioned: “The Brigade have been referred to as at 5.14pm to stories of a hearth by Lower Sunbury Road.

“An industrial unit on Platt’s eyot is alight.

“So far there have been no stories of accidents and the hearth is ongoing.

“Eight hearth engines have been dispatched.

“There are some cylinders concerned in the hearth.”

Surrey Fire & Rescue Service mentioned it had obtained various calls in regards to the blaze, and has suggested close by residents to close their home windows and doorways.

The service wrote on Twitter: “Our Joint Fire Control obtained 20 calls to #Hampton Boat Sheds this night.

“We are at present helping @LondonFire at this incident.
