Five arrested in right-wing terrorism investigation

Three males, together with one from Wales, a lady and a teenage boy have been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences.

Officers from Counter Terrorism Policing North East arrested a 29-year-old man, a 30-year-old man and a 28-year-old girl in Keighley, West Yorkshire, on Saturday morning on suspicion of caring within the fee, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism underneath Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

A 28-year-old man was arrested in Anglesey, north Wales, and a 16-year-old boy was arrested in Swindon, Wiltshire, on Saturday morning on suspicion of the identical offence.

All 5 have been taken to a police station in West Yorkshire for questioning, Counter Terrorism Policing North East mentioned.
