Man, 70, charged with murder after Imani Allaway-Muir shot dead outside London jail

pensioner has been charged with murdering a younger man who was shot dead outside a north London jail.

William Hardy, 70, of Islington, is because of seem at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

Hardy was arrested on Tuesday by detectives investigating the demise of Imani Allaway-Muir, 22, in Islington on July 4, 2020.

A moped gunman killed Mr Allaway-Muir in a drive-by capturing at 3.20pm outside Pentonville Prison in Holloway.

Officers attended with paramedics however the sufferer couldn’t be saved.
