The incident occurred at 4:30pm on Thursday, April 22 in Clarence Avenue, Lambeth. The sufferer, a six-year-old boy, was outdoors his home when he was approached by a person who briefly spoke to him over the backyard wall.
He is alleged to have advised the kid he had some sweets and drinks in his van.
However, the kid ran again inside and alerted his mom, police say.
By the time the kid’s mum got here outdoors, the person had left.
The Metropolitan Police, who’re investigating the incident, stated the mum didn’t see the person or the alleged van.
The boy was bodily unhurt.
Police stated the suspect was described by the sufferer as a ADD QUOTE MARKS: “brown-skinned male, roughly 5ft 6in tall”.
The suspect, in line with the sufferer, had quick black hair and was carrying a blue blazer, and black trousers.
