A girl has died in a fire in a block of flats in Chingford.
London Fire Brigade was known as to the fire in a block of flats in the The Ridgeway at about 11.45pm on Thursday, April 22.
Four fire engines and round 25 firefighters from Chingford, Woodford and Enfield fire stations rushed to the scene.
Firefighters sporting respiration equipment rescued a lady from the affected flat, however she was sadly pronounced lifeless at the scene.
A floor ground flat in a three-storey block was broken by the fire.
The fire was beneath management by 1.14am. The trigger is beneath investigation.
