This seemingly implausible sight turned a actuality on Friday when a world-first swimming pool opened in the UK capital

The 25-metre-long acrylic aquarium-style pool was made in the state of Colorado in the US and transported over 8,000 kilometres to the Nine Elms district in south-west London.

Connecting the tenth flooring of two flats at the £1 billion Embassy Gardens improvement, a number of lengths of Sky Pool present each train and a panoramic view of a rating of world-famous landmarks.

Sky Pool swam from the boundary-pushing thoughts of property developer Sean Mulryan and was constructed by EcoWorld Ballymore.
