A restaurant specialising in home-made food and drink has gained an award for its beer.
Hood, Streatham is celebrating after being topped the UK’s Best Independent Craft Beer Restaurant.
The SIBA Business Awards are judged by a panel of impartial beer trade specialists, managed by the Society of Independent Brewers.
Founder and proprietor Melanie Frean, stated: “Like all companies in the hospitality commerce, the final 12 months have been a
roller-coaster so to have triumphed on this nationwide award scheme as we celebrated our sixth birthday was an unbelievable feat for us.”
Since the pandemic hit, Hood has carried on making chef-prepared trendy British meals at house.
Melanie stated: “The staff is working onerous behind the scenes and we’re trying ahead to welcoming again our clients to dine with us on May 19.”
