Man ‘carrying an axe’ near Buckingham Palace in London arrested by armed cops


A person with an axe has been arrested on The Mall, near to Buckingham Palace.

Police officers have been on patrol on The Mall at roughly 18.30pm on Tuesday 13 April once they noticed a person carrying an axe.

Armed officers on responsibility close by rushed over and detained the person.

He has been arrested on suspicion of carrying an offensive weapon.

There are not any studies of any accidents.

The man, who’s believed to be in his 40s, was taken to Charing Cross Police Station for questioning.
