A Wimbledon author is hoping to encourage kids to strive gardening along with her debut children’s book a couple of green-fingered guinea pig.

Caroline Pankhurst’s book The Guinea Pig Gardeners tells the story of the adventures of Humphrey, a celery-chomping hero, with illustrations by Maude Smith.

The book goals to encourage 5 to eight-year-olds to enjoy rising crops and taking care of the setting.

Ms Pankhurst mentioned: “I wished to convey that gardening is nice for all kinds of youngsters, no matter their background.

It can deliver youngsters collectively. Children who could also be shy and quiet will assist one another in a backyard and overlook what it’s like being in a classroom.”
