Dozens of bus routes in south west and north west London will be hit by two days of strikes, beginning Wednesday March 31.
Bus drivers employed by operator London United, an organization commissioned by Transport for London, will stage the commercial motion till 6am on Friday April 2.

The strike is over what the Unite commerce union has referred to as a “downgrade” of bus drivers’ pay and situations by RATP, a French firm which owns London United and two different operators. An announcement from Unite mentioned: “Following 4 days of negotiations final week, RATP made a suggestion for the excellent pay will increase for 2019 and 2020 and in addition sought to introduce new contract clauses.

Drivers from two different operators owned by RATP – Quality Line and London Sovereign – had taken industrial motion over a number of days between February and March however pay offers have since been agreed.
