London crime: Man, 56, sentenced to five years after firearms found during raid

A 56-year-old man has been jailed following a raid on his residence, the place police recovered a sawn-off shotgun and a pistol.

Nick Miller, of Sutherland Court, Westminster, appeared at Southwark Crown Court on Thursday, March 18 the place he was jailed for a complete of five years.

Miller pleaded responsible to possession of two prohibited firearms, and was later sentenced to five years for every rely of firearm possession, to be served concurrently.

Police arrested Miller on Friday, February 12 on suspicion of firearm possession, after which officers raided his residence.
