London Crime: Police appeal after 2 men tried to rob London Underground passengers in broad daylight

The British Transport Police (BTP) has launched CCTV pictures of men they want to converse to relating to a spate of tried robberies on the London Underground.

The robberies passed off on Thursday December 31 2020 at round 2pm.

Two men approached a sufferer on the Victoria Line platform at Oxford Circus Underground station.

One of them men mentioned “give me your cellphone” earlier than making an attempt to snatch it out of the sufferer’s hand. The sufferer was in a position to get away.

The men then boarded a Victoria line service and demanded the telephones of two additional victims and threatened to use violence.
