Croydon police live: Updates as Church Street cordoned off around 2 forensic tents

A big police cordon has been arrange in Croydon around two forensic tents .

The scene is on Church Street Church avenue, outdoors the Minster by the junction with Church Road.

The nature of the emergency incident just isn’t recognized at this stage.

The Metropolitan Police have been contacted for extra data and MyLondon awaits their response.

Multiple police autos are in attendance and officers are guarding the cordon.

A witness on the scene has informed MyLondon that they’ve seen detectives talking to individuals residing within the flats contained in the cordon.

The scene just isn’t removed from Church Street tram cease.
