Police investigating the homicide of a man who was stabbed to demise in broad daylight yesterday have named him as Tai Jordan O’Donnell.

The 19-year-old was discovered with knife wounds to his legs on Alpha Road in Croydon, south London, at round noon yesterday.

Officers raced to the scene after being referred to as by London Ambulance Service however Mr O’Donnell was pronounced lifeless 5 minutes later.  

Detectives from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command arrested a 22-year-old woman at this time on suspicion of homicide.

Homicide Detective Chief Inspector Mick Norman, who is main the investigation, mentioned: ‘Although we’ve not but had a formal identification we’re assured that the deceased is Tai Jordan O’Donnell from Croydon who was simply 19 years outdated.

‘While our enquiries to ascertain the circumstances surrounding this incident proceed our ideas are with Tai’s household and associates who are, little doubt, struggling to come back to phrases with what has occurred.
